Read about the work of our first ever Anti-Bullying Ambassador Team. They were the pioneers who led the way and every year since a new team comes along to pick up where the others left off. What strong, creative and responsible young leaders.

OUR FIRST ANTI-BULLYING AMBASSADORS TEAM 2016/17

Our Anti-Bullying Team went to Lisneal College in Derry to receive Ambassador Training.  Frankie and Paul facilitated the day.  The team returned full of confidence and with lots of great ideas for the year ahead.

Thanks Paul and Frankie for a great day of training.

ANTI-BULLYING AMBASSADORS 2016/17

Congratulations to the Anti- Bullying Ambassadors Team at St. Mary’s P.S. Draperstown who have won the Creative Arts section of the Northern Ireland Anti-Bullying Forum’s competition.  They won the award for their short film about the innovative work they do in the school to ensure St. Mary’s is a bully free zone.  The Ambassadors travelled to Titanic Belfast to celebrate their success to launch  Anti-Bullying Week .

The Ambassadors received training from Paul and Frankie earlier this year.  They returned to school full of confidence and bright ideas for an action packed year ahead.  They have organised a Festival for Anti-Bullying Week.  You can view their film and  find out more about the work they are doing on our Twitter page @StMarysBscreen
