I am a Scientist - Get Me Out of Here. We had a live web chat with two scientists who are competing to win £500 to help them with their research. We learnt so many facts from each scientist about their work and research.
World Book Day 2017! P.6 celebrated World Book Day with a tea party. They brought along a special friend from home and talked about their favourite book!

Christmas Around the World project winners are... 1st Place - Grace (Norway), 2nd Place - Eunan (Germany), 3rd Place - Shay (Turkey), 4th Place - Eve (Austria). Well done to everyone in P.6! The standard of work was very high.
Christmas Around the World - P.6 pupils sent Christmas cards to Mrs Barton and Mr Brunton from their chosen country. They wrote their message using the language spoken in the country!

Cuddle Cards - There was great excitement in the P.6 classroom when each child received their Cuddle Card. Each child had the opportunity to read what their peers had written about them and everyone was smiling from ear to ear as they read all the positive things their peers had to say about them. This was a fabulous idea from Anti-Bullying Week!

Amazing Accelerated Reader Success in P.6!
97% of pupils in P.6 completed an Accelerated Reader (AR) quiz last week (27/11/16 - 2/12/16). As a class they earned a combined total of 68.4 points towards their points target! Congratulations P.6 and keep up the good work!
