Leaf Identification in Susan's Trail
Year 7 Leaf Identification.
On Thursday 20th October Year 7 went to Susan’s Trail to identify some leaves. We found a variety of leaves, such as ash, hazel, beech, birch, alder, holly, willow and rowan. We worked in small groups and used iPads to take some pictures of the leaves on the trees. When we got back to class we used keys to identify each leaf from the photographs. We presented our work as a Pic Collage. It was a really fun morning and I enjoyed learning about the different trees.
